Welcome to Burlington Girls Hockey Club
The Burlington Girls Hockey Club has been offering a safe and fun place for young athletes to play hockey since 1996. We currently have over 700 girls (and growing) playing Canada's favourite sport. We offer programs for girls ages 4 to 18 at both the house league and competitive (rep) levels. We are a not for profit corporation managed by an executive board and run by hundreds of volunteers.
For members arriving on our new website, you will find familiar sections so you can easily navigate to your favourites pages and also new functions and capabilities with more to come.
Any feedback on our new site can be directed here.

Apply to be a Part of Team OWHA for IIHF World Hockey Weekend
The OWHA is once again participating in the IIHF World Hockey Weekend by entering teams in the World Girls Hockey Weekend Long Game. This is one hockey game that spans the entire country and moves from province to province as the day progresses, with a cumulative score running for the entire game.
This was a great event last season and we did have one of our BGHC girls selected to play on Team OWHA. We encourage you to read all about this on the OWHA website at www.owha.on.ca and apply to be part of the team. House league players are especially encouraged, but the application process is open to all girls aged Atom through Midget.
Please log into the Survey Monkey (link below) if you and/or your daughter are interested in being part of Team OWHA Canada.
For further information, dates, and times, please read the following pdf.

Fall Skills School Registration
The BGHC is pleased to once again offer a Fall Skills School to our registered house league members. This program consists of 8 - 1 hour sessions through the month of September led by Head Instructor Becky Kellar, former Canadian Olympic team member and gold medalist. This is a great way to introduce your daughter to hockey if she is a NEW player and a great way to improve skills for returning players. There is a maximum registration of 100 girls for this program and there is generally a waiting list so don't delay in getting your daughter registered.
Please see the BGHC House League - HL Skill Development web page for further details.
