The Gift of Giving Back Food Drive
    November 1-2, 2016
    M.M. Robinson High School

The Annual Gift of Giving Back Community Food Drive is the largest food drive in Canada supporting five member agencies in the Halton Region.

Celebrating 11 years of giving, the annual Fall community food drive supports, educates and empowers more than 2,000 young male and female hockey athletes and high school students to give back to our community.  Since 2005, more than 1 million lbs of food has been donated to families in the Halton Region.  This is the accumulative donation of $2.5 million of food.

This year, we are partnering with M.M. Robinson High School to accumulate, over a two day period (November 1st and 2nd),  all of the food collected by more than 85 male and female youth hockey teams from: The Burlington Eagles; The Burlington Girls Hockey Club (Barracudas); Burlington Cougars; and M.M. Robinson Rams.

We hope all CUDAS will rally together with their teams to help us reach our food drive goals and stock the shelves of our member agencies: the Salvation Army Food Bank; Partnership West; Carpenter Hospice and Halton Women's Place.

We are thrilled to announce that Mayor Rick Goldring and Burlington City Council proclaimed October 12th as “Gift of Giving Back” Day in Burlington!

Welcome to the 2016-2017 BGHC House League Hockey Season!

To celebrate, the BGHC hosted a fun CUDAS House League Day where more than 450 young female hockey players met their coach and team mates; received their jersey; and brought food donations to kick-start The Annual Gift of Giving Back Food Drive!

Big thanks to all our volunteers and partners - Orangetheory Fitness, F1rst Ontario Credit Union, Jimmy Tee's and Healthquarters!

    See you at the rink!
