House League Championship Weekend

Our House League celebrated the end of the 2014-2015 Season with a Championship Weekend filled with hockey and fun team events!

We hosted 18 games on Saturday and 11 out of the 18 were decided by 1 goal (including 1 empty net goal in a 2-0 game). Five games went to OT and 3 to a shoot out.

The Sunday Final games were exciting! The Atom, PeeWee and Bantam games all had a goalie out of the net in the last minute of play and Midget was decided in a shoot out! Overall - a great, ...fun weekend!

The BGHC extends a huge thank you to the 50 Head Coaches that stepped up this year to make this all possible. Thank you to the parents and all of the support staff, assistant coaches and trainers that volunteered this year to support women's hockey.

Congratulations to all the teams for a year filled with new friendships and personal development! Registration for the 2015-2016 Season opens the week of May 4.

We look forward to seeing you at the rink next season!

CUDAS Celebrate 100th Anniversary of Hockey Canada!

With glowing hearts, some of our Peewee and Atom CUDAS players participated in Century Tour to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Hockey Canada.

The 20,000-square-foot interactive hockey experience caravan, that is travelling across Canada, stopped by the ACC during the World Junior Championships. While Team Canada booked its spot in the Gold Medal Game, our players were skating under the night sky at Maple Leaf Square in an on-ice skills instruction with certified Hockey Canada coaches!

"We all play for Canada!"
