It's been a banner year for our Peewee AA team who capped the season with Lower Lakes Female Hockey League and OWHA titles!

The team won eight straight playoff games to capture the LLFHL title with a 4-0 victory over Oakville in the final. Our CUDAS carried that momentum into last weekend's Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) Championships in Vaughan.

Our players allowed just three goals in six games. In the gold medal game, the Barracudas met the Sudbury Lady Wolves.  Locked in a 0-0 game, Barracuda goalie, Mae, stopped a Sudbury breakaway midway through the second period. Then with 16 seconds left in the period, the Sudbury goalie made a big save but forward, Kyla, was there to gather the rebound and fire a shot into the top corner. It would be the only goal in Burlington’s 1-0 victory as they claimed the Provincial Gold Medal.

Overall, the team's season record was: 57-5-5. This is an incredible accomplishment to cap off the 2015-2016 season!

Well done CUDAS - display your banners with great pride!

The BGHC picked up two GOLD medals and one SILVER medal at the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) Championship Weekend, April 1-3, 2016 in North York.

An incredible showcase for Canada's girls minor hockey players, the BGHC had four teams participate in the LLFHL including Peewee AA, Bantam AA, Peewee BB and Midget A, a team who came out victorious in their division after three rounds of pre-championship playoffs.

These medals are the product of hard work from a great group of athletes and dedicated volunteer staff.  The Lower Lakes Female Hockey League is one of the largest girls minor hockey leagues in the world. Simply making the final weekend is a major achievement due to the challenging multi-week playoff format.   To bring home three LLFHL medals is an incredible accomplishment.  All our BGHC teams have proudly represented our community and together, we celebrate their achievements during the 2015-2016 season!

The BGHC extends a huge thank you to the Head Coaches that stepped up this year to make this all possible. Thank you to the parents and all of the support staff, assistant coaches and trainers that volunteered this year to support women's hockey.

Congratulations to all the teams for a year filled with new friendships and personal development! Registration for the 2016-2015 Season will be announced shortly. Please continue to visit for updates.

We look forward to seeing you at the rink next season!
