The Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the BGHC will be held Thursday May 29, 2014 at 7 PM in Appleby Arena A Multipurpose Room
The BGHC Board of Directors (“the Board”) is seeking membership approval for a series of Constitutional changes related to the structure of the Board itself. Please refer to the two documents in the link below for a detailed description of the changes as well as a diagram of the resulting Board structure.
Assuming that the membership approves the changes, the following Directors will be elected at the AGM
- President – 1 year term.
- Vice President – Hockey Operations – 1 year term.
- Vice President – Business Operations – 2 year term.
- Director – Fundraising – 2 year term.
- Director Player and Coach Development – 2 year term.
- Director of House League – 1 year term.
The position of President requires an individual that has previously served a term of at least 1 year on the BGHC Board of Directors. Any individual wishing to run for one of the above positions must submit their names to BGHC Secretary Pat Verwey no later than May 22, 2014. Pat’s email is email@example.com
Any member wishing to bring forward a matter at the AGM must submit a request to Pat Verwey no later than May 9, 2014. A maximum of 10 minutes will be allocated at the AGM for any such request.
