Welcome to Burlington Girls Hockey Club

The Burlington Girls Hockey Club has been offering a safe and fun place for young athletes to play hockey since 1996.  We currently have over 700 girls (and growing) playing Canada's favourite sport. We offer programs for girls ages 4 to 18 at both the house league and competitive (rep) levels.  We are a not for profit corporation managed by an executive board and run by hundreds of volunteers.

For members arriving on our new website, you will find familiar sections so you can easily navigate to your favourites pages and also new functions and capabilities with more to come.

Any feedback on our new site can be directed here.

Hockey Canada celebrates 100 years

(Deadline November 27th)

The BGHC is now accepting enquiries and applications from individuals who are qualified and interested in coaching our Midget AA, Bantam AA or Peewee AA teams for the 2015-16 season.  Please note that applicants for Midget AA and Bantam AA, as per new Hockey Canada rules, must have an HP1 certification or be in the process of receiving this certification now.   The BGHC is looking for coaches who are prepared to work in a collaborative atmosphere with their fellow coaches at the AA level within the BGHC.   Non-parent applicants are encouraged.  The BGHC has policies in place to ensure that non-parent coaches are not out-of-pocket for taking on a coaching position within our association.

For questions, please contact VP Hockey, Jason Crawford, at vphockey@bghc.ca

To apply, please fill in the attached application and email to vphockey@bghc.ca

The BGHC is once again planning DS teams for our house league girls for the 2014-15 season.  This season we hope to have teams at Novice, Atom, PeeWee and for the first time also at Bantam.

Registration will take place ONLINE ONLY and is now open. The fee is $30 for 2 skates. Online registration will remain open until 48 hours prior to the start of the final skate for each age division.

Please refer to the tryout schedule below.  Note:  Gateway Ice Centre, for Bantam DS tryouts, is located in Stoney Creek along the QEW at 610 South Service Road, Hamilton.

An email with all the details of the program was sent to all Novice, Atom, PeeWee and Bantam house league members.  Please refer to that note.  All questions are to be directed to Jason Crawford at vphockey@bghc.ca

Good luck to all girls.
